Missed a memo
There's a choir in the lobby at my workplace - all dressed appropriately in red robes with green throws over the neck and chest, looking much like those holiday plants that invariably seem as though they're fake. Right now they're singing "we will we will rock you."

When, I ask humbly, did that become a christmas carol?

Oh, man, poor you! LOL, though. Like those carols weren't bad enough!

They're a brass quintet.

I'm sorry?

TOBY
[yelling] A brass quintet... two trumpets, trombone, baritone horn, French
horn. Do you
like them?

JOSH
Do I like them for what?

TOBY
To play Christmas carols here in the lobby in the morning and evenings as
people are
coming and going.

JOSH
No.

TOBY
Why?

JOSH
Because this isn't the Paramus mall.

TOBY
Let me tell you something, the last two Christmases in this White House I've
been accused
of not being in the proper spirit. I was called names. Not this year! For
the next three
weeks I will be filling this lobby with music in the mornings and evenings
so that we may
all experience this season of... [turning to musicians with annoyance]
Would you people
stop playing for one damn minute!

The brass quintet dies out.

Sigh, where are Josh and Toby when you need them? :)

Apparently, the hellhole I work in is indeed the Paramus mall. With an attitude.

Paramus mall with an attitude sound like a place I would rather be right now. :))

Back in the TWW fandom I remember we used to play puzzles and this woman wrote an entire fanfic on god only remembers what but nothing to do with TWW and we had to guess the name of the episode she had in mind writing it. No one got it! It's now that I remember Rory spotting some guys trying to talk without utilizing the letter "e", I realize she meant "Noel" and never once used the letter "L" in it...
