The British are, well, you know...
Good heavens, all the new British people at the workplace. If it wasn't for the 9-hour-long orgasm their accents inevitably induce, their takeover would be a hell of a lot more embarrassing. Wait a minute, what am I saying?

Today, a bunch of them are getting acquainted with my floor. Where we do tech support and no bullshit. Hm.

Brit guy: "Can I just pinch your seat for a moment?"
Me: "Not without getting punched in the... oh my god, ohmygod, of course, you can-" just a teeeeny bit of a second earlier than I'd have liked to have answered.

Really. Can they LEARN ENGLISH?
Kidding. 'cuz, clearly, I can't.

Oh, didn't I tell you? We've been bought over by National Grid, the largest British utility company. Their brave pioneers have been snooping around for ages. Gawd, I love how they talk...

You know, you keep telling me how bad it is, and yet, you produce the funniest stories! You make your work place sound like one hell of a fun ride. :))

Don't get me started on the guy who kept telling me how it's been a whole two hours since he's last had a fag :)

My work - don't get me wrong - is fabulous. I love what I do. I HATE, however, the supervisor who snores across from me all day long, while phones are ringing off the hooks.

Gah! I am so sorry, dearest! We really do need to devise a strategy for some insidious brand of dealing with this guy. No one makes your life difficult like that and lives in peace! Damn it! :)
