As to the horrors that lie that way... it's like Dad telling you that, when you were four years old, your best friend was a security blanket named Pepe and you nod and smile like a good little SENSIBLE girl and then secretly dig Pepe out from under the mattress and reassure him that, though some things do change, others remain the same still.
What's that word I'm looking for? Oh, yes. Embarrassing.
